General Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the agreement between you (“the Guest”) and Shiny Tours Tokyo (“we,” “us,” or “our”) for the provision of private walking tours in Tokyo. By booking a tour with us, you agree to the following terms.

1. Scope of Service

We provide private guided walking tours in Tokyo, designed and adjusted to the group’s pace, age, and interests. The itinerary, meeting point, and duration will be agreed upon in advance. Tours are conducted in English or German.

2. Booking and Payment

All bookings must be made through our official channels (Website, GetYourGuide, Viator, etc.).
A tour is confirmed only after receiving a confirmation email from us.
Full payment is required at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed.
Prices include guide services only. Transportation, food, or entrance fees (if applicable) are not included unless specifically mentioned.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

By the Guest:
- Cancellations made more than 168 hours before the scheduled start time will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations within 168 hours or no-shows are non-refundable.
By Us:
- We reserve the right to cancel the tour in case of extreme weather, guide illness, or unforeseen circumstances.
- In such cases, we will offer a full refund or the option to reschedule.

4. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for arriving on time at the agreed meeting point.
Please wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.
Guests must inform us of any medical conditions or limitations that could affect participation.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

5. Liability

Participation in our tours is at your own risk.
We are not liable for accidents, injuries, loss of personal belongings, or delays caused by public transportation, weather, or other third parties.
We are not responsible for guests who leave the group or do not follow safety advice.

6. Changes to the Tour

Minor adjustments to the itinerary may be made due to traffic, weather, or local events.
We will always strive to offer an enjoyable and informative experience, even if changes are necessary.

7. Privacy

We collect and process personal data (e.g., name, contact details) solely for the purpose of organizing your tour. For details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

8. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tokyo, Japan.
